Hudsonville Ice Cream released seven of their most beloved flavors in pints, and my tastebuds are doing a happy dance!
I’m a Michigander and all about supporting a local business. (Hudsonville Ice Cream is located in Holland, Mich. btw.)
Enough geography, now back to the ice cream.
The lineup:
1. Creamery Blend Vanilla: Fresh milk and cream and the highest quality 4-fold vanilla make this the benchmark of the Hudsonville lineup. Described as Hudsonville’s creamiest, dreamiest vanilla ever.
2. Chocolate: Thick, rich and creamy chocolate ice cream made with real Dutch cocoa and fresh cream right from neighboring farms.
3. Mint Chocolate Chip: Cool mint ice cream dotted with rich semi-sweet chocolate chips.
4. Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough: Rich, creamy vanilla ice cream and nuggets of ooey, gooey chocolate chip cookie dough.
5. Mackinac Island Fudge: A mix of butter fudge and fudge chunks blend perfectly into vanilla ice cream.
6. Traverse City Cherry Fudge: Sweet chunks of cherries and a thick fudge ripple blended into a creamy amaretto ice cream.
7. Seaside Caramel: Caramel sea salt truffles and a silky ribbon of salted caramel swirl into vanilla ice cream -- the perfect combination of sweet and salty.
My favorites out of that lineup are Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Seaside Caramel. If you haven’t guessed by now (based on my other blog posts -- psst, go check them out!), I’m a sucker for anything cookie dough and caramel. Brownie points if they’re combined...extra brownie points if there are brownies involved.
