Looking for some dairy free ice cream that *actually* tastes good? Look no further! Hudsonville Ice Cream has a lineup of dairy free pints, and they are delicious!
These pints are made with a combination of oat milk and coconut cream — plus they’re vegan friendly.
I’m not dairy free, but I wanted to give these a try. I’ve had other DF ice creams before, and they seemed a little off… these flavors are 100% ON!
The flavors are:
1. Birthday Cake: Birthday cake flavored dairy-free base mixed with festive sprinkles.
2. Caramel Cookie Dough: Gooey chunks of vegan cookie dough and a rich caramel swirl delightfully dunked in a brown sugar flavored base.
3. Cherry Fudge: Bits of sweet cherries and a thick ribbon of fudge swirled into a creamy amaretto cherry base.
4. Chocolate: Velvety chocolate frozen dessert so decadent you won't miss the dairy!
5. Mint Fudge Cookie: Cool, creamy mint flavored base swirled with crumbly fudge cookies.
6. Peanut Butter Truffle: Chocolate peanut butter truffle base with chocolate peanut butter truffle pieces and ribbons of peanut butter.
7. S’mores: Rich chocolate base with crunchy graham cracker pieces and ribbons of marshmallow.
Flavor-wise, I really enjoyed Birthday Cake, Caramel Cookie Dough and S’mores. I’m pushing myself out of my comfort zone to try more of the fruit flavored ice creams, but I just can’t seem to like them as much as the other flavors. Don’t get me wrong, they definitely taste like what they’re supposed to. So if that’s your cup of tea -- err… bowl of ice cream -- have at it!
